Venue: Melati 4101AB
Organizer: IEEE Women in Engineering Singapore Affinity Group (WIE-Singapore)

IEEE WiE Singapore Affinity group has continued to excel in supporting young girls and women to pursue education and careers in STEM. Thanks to the generous opportunity from the 11th International Conference on Innovative Smart Grid Technologies (ISGT Asia 2022), the IEEE WiE Singapore proposes a panel session titled “Women in Power: Breaking the Bias.” The event will endorse a positive impact on the ISGT Asia 2022 to promote female leadership.

This 45-min panel session discusses challenges and behind stories when venturing into new technologies and ideas – our selected speakers share their experiences and perspectives as women leaders and professionals. It will provide an opportunity to explore the double side of the coin before beginning a technology adventure as women professional. Also, the session will aim at a highly interactive platform to foster networking, mentoring, and collaboration for empowering, engaging, and developing an innovative mindset with a motto to help women scientists and engineers.
